Boring where it matters, and the same across every product.
We choose tools we have already run in production for years. Client work uses the same stack unless there is a reason written down in the scope.
Next.js, TypeScript
Every product we run is a Next.js application. One framework across every product means one set of conventions and one set of mistakes we have already made.
Postgres
Relational, boring, well understood. Object storage for media and documents. We reach for anything else only when Postgres has actually run out.
Cloudflare
DNS, CDN, WAF, Workers and static hosting. Every product sits behind it. Origin hosting is chosen per product.
Stripe
Subscriptions, per-unit metering and invoices. Credit-based and per-document pricing are implemented on top of it, not instead of it.
Carrier-grade SMS and VoIP
Registered messaging in the US and Canada with consent and opt-out built in. This is the layer under AiroPhone.
PKCS#7, hash-chained audit trails
Sealed PDFs with a certificate page and a public verify page. This is AiroSign, and we use it inside the other products.
Leaflet, vector tiles
Map-first search for property marketplaces, with clustered pins and a list view that share one query.
Whichever model fits
Bounded agents with evaluation sets, audit logs and a human handoff. Model choice is per task and swappable.
PostHog, Plausible
Product analytics inside the apps; cookie-free analytics on marketing sites, so there is no consent banner.
In the browser, Tailwind tokens
Interfaces designed with real data and real states. One token set shared between the marketing site and the product.
Things we avoid
- 01Frameworks that lock the code to a hosting vendor.
- 02Page builders for anything that has to be maintained by engineers.
- 03Microservices for products that fit in one application.
- 04A second database before the first one has a problem.
- 05Client-only rendering for pages that need to be found.
