Replacing a seat-priced e-signature vendor with an API you can switch to in one line
A per-document signing platform with sealed output and a DocuSeal-compatible API, built from an internal need.
Own productSaaS2026
The problem
Our own products needed signing inside their own pages, with one sender and thousands of signers. Every vendor priced by the seat, gated the API to the top tier, and redirected signers to a page that was not ours. The evidence attached to a completed document was a PDF footer.
What we built
- 01Templates from PDF or HTML that fill themselves from posted data
- 02Embedded, branded signing pages with sequential and parallel signing
- 03PKCS#7 sealing, a certificate page and an append-only hash chain per document
- 04Signed webhooks with a delivery log and replay
- 05A DocuSeal-compatible API so migration is a base URL and a key
- 06Per-document pricing with a free tier that includes the full API
What changed
- Signing lives inside our own products with no redirect
- Evidence a court can check without an account, via a public verify page
- A product we now sell to other developers
